Off The Tracks is celebrating its 24th anniversary, and is an event that brings you two festivals each year from Castle Donington in the very heart of England. A great FFA favourite and voted a top "small is beautiful" festival by The Times, Off The Tracks is a marvelous, family friendly festival.
Earlybird tickets are available from £55.
A 'Dream Ticket' joint ticketing deal inclusive of Off The Tracks Spring Festival + Bearded Theory Festival is available from £110.
Artists booked to appear include Harkwind, Wilko Johnson, and Dub Pistols.
Here is a movie of some highlights of the 2011 Spring festival shot by Peter Simmonds:
FFA on the Spring 2011 festival:
"The twice yearly Off The Tracks Festivals are truly hidden jewels in the festival crown; a magical combination of first class facilities, organization, intelligent music policy, a unique farm environment, great artists, and brilliant, brilliant festival goers. If ever a festival typified all that is good and precious about the small independent festival then Off the Tracks is surely it. No matter what your musical tastes or festival preferences, there should always be a place reserved for events like Off The Tracks in anyone’s festival calendar."
FFA on the Summer 2011 festival:
" OTT is one of the most precious, intimate, creative, and friendly festivals FFA has ever had the pleasure to review; populated by one of the most diverse and musically knowledgeable crowds around – it’s like a blisteringly good weekend long house party...... these very nice people at OTT give you, dear festival goer, two opportunities a year to become your own little piece of a truly magical jigsaw."

Exclusive Interview with Dave Brock from Off The Tracks headliner HAWKWIND
Created on Wed 7th March 2012
Let’s cut to the chase up front. Dave Brock is one of my heroes. Why’s that? He’s been at the helm of the good ship Hawkwind for over forty years. That’s why. Alongside their own phenomenal success, they have influenced generations of musicians across the world. From global rock acts to bed-sitter bands, most will reference Hawkwind as a key player in their musical development. There’s personal history too; as a young sprog, Hawkwind were one of the first bands I ever saw live. They ambled / shambled on stage to play the most stunning psychedelic space rock and I didn’t know what hit me. That one concert turned my head for the next ten years and I still recall it fondly as one of life’s little ‘events’. A genuinely defining moment in my personal musical evolution. So, would I be all calm and collected or blather uncontrollably when I got my first opportunity to chat with him? In what can be a very shallow industry, would Brock actually transpire to be a Hero or a Zero? ….. Here’s how The Blatherer and The Hero got on:
