With just three weeks until Download Festival 2014, Download organisers have released details of performance times. Download have also honoured Stephen Sutton’s memory by renaming the main stage the Stephen Sutton Stage for 2014.

Download Festival was on Stephen’s ‘Bucket List’ and it was an honour and a privilege in 2013 for them to have him as their guest, where he saw a host of his favourite bands, including his heroes Bullet For My Valentine. Stephen touched the heart of millions with the immense bravery, dignity, selflessness and love of life he constantly displayed in raising £3.9 million (and counting) for Teenage Cancer Trust after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in December 2012.

More fun to factor in to the schedule will be Download Festival’s first ever ‘Zombification’. With the help of the UK’s pre-eminent zombifiers, Zed Events, Download fans will be given the chance to create their own fiendish fun on Zombie Dress-up Friday when Zombie Makeover Stations will pop up in both the village and the main arena, before a swarm of professional (friendly) zombies disperse throughout the site on Saturday and Sunday to provide a scarcely-believable range of selfie opportunities.
