Stamping Ground Festival of Americana takes place at Stonham Barns in the heart of Suffolk. The weekend festival returns in May 2014 and is a celebration of Americana, focusing on Bluegrass, Country, Cajun and Appalachian music, featuring a superb line-up of highly regarded artists from the Americana and Roots music scene.

You can expect Live Blues & Rock & Roll Music / Bars / Classic American Cars And Bikes /  Parade / Civil War Re-Enactors & Marching Bands / Open Mic / 'Kers Corner Stage' /  Cajun And Jive Workshops And Dj's / Merchandise And Traders Marketplace / Great Food From Hot Dogs To Red Beans And Rice / Excellent Camping Facilities with Hook-Ups Available.

Alongside the live music, the festival will host displays of classic American cars, motorcycles and commercials from the 30’s to the present day, as well as a market place with unique and diverse traders selling all manner of Americana related products including; CD’s and DVD’s, clothing, food and drink. Audiences will also be treated to themed areas representing different aspects in American culture from Civil War re-enactment areas to 1940’s and 50’s themed bars and workshops.

Artists booked to appear include Sarah Savoy & The Francadians, and Vagaband.
