Night & Day at Kirkstall Abbey Overview

A Music Event with good home-cooked food (you don’t have to cook yourself) - Night and Day at Kirkstall Abbey, 2 great days and 2 great lineups. Night on Saturday 11th June is an evening of Celtic folk rock, while Day on Sunday 12th June is fun for all the family from Shlomo to Lucky Elephant to Craig Charles and his Fantasy Funk Band.  Both with a food village serving homemade food from curry to hog roast.

Night: Sat 11th June 2001 – doors open 5pm programme 6pm finish 10.30pm
‘Night’ is a night of celtic folk rock in the remarkable surroundings of Kirkstall Abbey.  The Waterboys, the Hothouse Flowers and Karine Polwart are all performing.  Bring a blanket and settle down or get up and dance to some of the very best folk artists around.

Kirkstall Day
Day: Sun 12th June 2011 – doors open 11am programme starts midday and finishes at 8pm
Join Tribeca Events for Day at Kirkstall Abbey, with music for all the family an eclectic line-up that will get everyone’s feet tapping.  Craig Charles presents his Fantasy Funk Band, Shlomo & the Vocal Orchestra, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, John Shuttleworth, Lucky Elephant and The New World Steel Orchestra.  You don’t even have to bring a picnic to join the carnival atmosphere as our food village will have home-made reasonably priced food from hog roasts to curries.

Night & Day at Kirkstall Abbey is on Sat 11th and Sun 12th June 2011.  Tickets for ‘Night’ are £35 each, ‘Day’ are adult £25, u16 £10, u5 free with family tickets.
