Led Zeppelin have unveiled a new video for “Rock And Roll” (Alternate Mix), featuring concert footage and new visuals.

The Alternate Mix of “Rock And Roll” is featured on the newly released deluxe edition of Led Zeppelin IV, available now worldwide along with the deluxe edition of Houses Of The Holy. Both albums have been newly remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page and are accompanied by a second disc of companion audio comprised entirely of unreleased music related to that album.

John Paul Jones and Page each commented on the companion audio version of “Rock And Roll.”

Jones said: “As a song, it was actually kind of punky; pre-punk. It was really fast too, on stage anyway. It just got really quick, a lot of energy. It’s a lot of fun to play. The crowd loved it. We loved it.”

Page commented: “‘Rock and Roll’ has just got that cheeky energy about. It’s a party. ‘It’s been a long time since I rock and rolled.’ It says it all really. It’s great lyrics and it’s a great performance.”

Led Zeppelin IV and Houses Of The Holy are both available now from Atlantic/Swan Song on CD, vinyl, digital download, and super deluxe boxed set.
