SOLARSPHERE is a brand new event combining the science of astronomy with the back drop of a "music festival" in Mid Wales.

(please note: The music and catering are indoors therefore will not create a light pollution issue)

They will be providing the opportunity for beginners and the more experienced amateur to learn about a variety of space related topics at their astrocamp which consists of a dark site in a spectacular location in Mid Wales.

This will be in the form of talks and workshops to include solar observing and hotography, night sky observing, astro-photography, moon landing debate and much more. In addition, there will be a music festival running alongside this for those who wish to discover some wonderful new bands.

With plenty to do in perfect surroundings, SOLARSPHERE will be an affordable, quality weekend for the whole family to enjoy year after year.

For beginners with Telescopes please bring them if possible, there will be a Telescope for Deep Sky and Solar for beginners without Telescopes to look through if required.

Ticket prices (from): Adult Weekend £45 - this includes all talks, workshops, observing and Music. Camping is "FREE" whether you bring a tent, caravan or campervan. The top field is the best location for observing. If you wish to pitch your tent here you will need to get there early!
