Cosmic Puffin V Overview

The Cosmic Puffin is a festival staffed and run entirely by volunteers in aid of Bliss, the special baby care charity and The National Autistic Society for people with autism and Asperger syndrome.

There will be two main stages plus an acoustic stage, and a chill-out space with live acts and Djs. Delivering music ranging from well established professional acts to brand new local bands playing a wide variety of excellent music including;

60s & 70s psychedelic, folk, rock and pop covers, experimental, electronic, dance and world music. There really is something for everyone and all the artists are giving their time free and freely creating a super friendly atmosphere.

There will be a variety of local and not so local foods available, plenty of crafts, healing and activities for everyone including a Kids Area full of fun things to do and make.

There are real loos, hot showers and plenty of space for camping by the sea in this beautiful, family friendly island setting

'Early Bird' tickets are available until 1st March

£35 per adult £10 per teen (11-16 year olds)

rising to £45 per adult £20 per teen

then £50 on the gate.

Day tickets will be available on the gate Saturday and Sunday only at £20 adults and £10 teens, Under 10s get in free.

 

Cosmic Puffin V Event Info

The festival will be on the beach with an indoor stage overlooking the sea from the Bar. There will also be a Marquee for the second Stage outside, and workshops available. The festival will also offer real toilets and warm showers, and welcomes campervans.

There are three stages, workshops, Open Mike Sessions and plenty to keep the kids amused

Cosmic Puffin V Travel Info

By Train
The closest train stations are Colchester Town and Colchester North. The First Buses do visit the Colchester North station. In non-peak times, London Liverpool Street is around an hour’s train journey away.

By Bus
First Buses operate services 67 and 67A throughout the week, and the 67C/67D service on Sundays and some bank holidays.

The buses generally stop at Colchester North Station, Colchester Bus Station and West Mersea High Street.

By Car
Mersea Island is in North Essex approximately 9 miles south of Colchester on the East Coast of England. It’s easily accessible and within easy reach of the capital…
