Cornucopia Festival 2013
Cornucopia Festival 2013
Starts: Fri 27th to Sat 28th September 2013
Tickets: Adult camping tickets from £58
The Cornucopia Festival is set in the rural idyll of unspoilt East Yorkshire, with the simple aim of producing a chilled out atmosphere to celebrate the mellowness of the changing season, spiced with fine music, food and drink.
The Festival offers an eclectic mix of Americana, Folk and some classic British R&B. Fine local produce and beer will be on offer as well as traditional games and a green fair, including 'hands on' crafts with a green theme, all situated on an idyllic working farm in rural East Yorkshire.
Once again the Cornucopia Festival will offer local food and beer (9 different real ales last year), a fantastic line-up of music, a green fair, plus loads of space for camping, caravans and motor homes, all in an idyllic rural setting.
Artists booked to appear include The Nimmo Brothers, And Mike Sanchez and His Band.
The Festival will be set on beautiful farmland, close to the vilage of Beswick, midway between Beverley and Driffield.
The performance stages will be set around the iconic 'Cornucopia Tree', with other marquees holding the green fair and the cafe and bar. All of the marquees will be heated and open fronted, so even if the great British weather proves less than clement you can be assured of a cosy setting whilst enjoying an uninterrupted view of the stages
The site itself is surrounded by woodland which hosts a variety of wildlife, and apart from the farmhouse itself there is not another building in sight! However there is good road access right to the festival field and the traditional market towns of Beverley and Driffield are only a few minutes drive away.
Friday 27th September
Saturday 28th September
The nearest railway station is Hutton Cranswick, approx. 4 miles from the site, and buses from Beverley and Driffield pass through the village of Beswick approx 1.5 miles from the site.
