Bashy
Bashy (real name Ashley Thomas) is a MC from North West London, who makes grime music but is also known for vocalling hip hop beats. He was a member of the Special Delivery crew, who had a regular set on the pirate radio station Freeze FM. He made his name through his clashing ability, with his direct and comical punch-lines causing problems for other MCs, including Demon on Lord Of The Mics 2, and Ghetto. One of his biggest hits to date is 'Black Boys', which was released in October 2007.

Bashy & CJ Beatz and The Selecter to headline Basingstoke Live
Posted Thu 18th April 2013Basingstoke Live announced the headline artists for 2013. Saturday night sees Bashy and CJ Beatz. Bashy is one of the most celebrated rappers in the new sphere of UK Hip Hop, earning a MOBO award nomination for his album ‘Catch Me If You Can’. Alongside Bashy in 2013 is BBC Radio 1xtra’s CJ Beatz. Having played numerous shows and festivals through out the UK and internationally with the likes of Ms Dynamite and Chipmunk, CJ is fast becoming the BBC 1xtra DJ to watch.
