After the success of last year, the KINDLING TENT is back and better than ever! this year's fire-starters: Roman Krznaric on empathy, George Marshall on why we are not talking about climate change Phil Ball, who spent 3 months in a Russian jail, on what he was doing with Greenpeace in the Arctic Lush on their ‘charity pot’ and all the direct action they have been helping happen Jess Worth, the most delightful and imaginative protests to get the arts to stop taking money from oil companies Dr Ricarda Steinbrecher on why GMOs are still a concern, and so much more - Oxford City Farm, SESI, The Earth Trust, poetry, video activism … & a good dose of hedgehog related strangeness from the host, Hugh Warwick (whose new book 'Hedgehog' is out now).

In the evenings, there are open performance spaces with Catweazle Club and The Acoustic Ballroom and Brian Briggs of Stornoway singing and talking about ducks, as well as film screenings and a late-night DJ sett from DJ BADGER!

One ofthe headliners for the festival, Luke Sital-Singh, appears this Saturday as part of Truck Store's Record Store Day celebrations from 2pm, so why not go and catch a glimpse?
