The industry is talking and Tom Prior is the centre of many an over heard conversation. Tucked away in the studio working hard on new material, the straight talking musical pioneer is set for big moves this year.
Announced to play The Great Escape in Brighton you can catch Tom performing alongside his performance collective 'Clockwork' on 24th April at The Water Rats in Kings Cross.

ABOUT TOM PRIOR
With musical wisdom beyond his years and songwriting with depth and brutal heartfelt honesty, Tom Prior is leading the way for a new generation of artists. Nominated for a Spirit of London Award held at London’s O2 for his ‘Achievement in Music’ the nomination highlighted his dedication to helping bring through the artists of tomorrow. At just 19 years old not only can he sing, rap and play the piano he is a steadfast producer and musical genius. Influenced by the likes of Coldplay, Wretch 32, Plan B, and The Streets, he is fast becoming recognized as one of the UK’s freshest up and coming musical talents.
With a zeal and tenacity to engage audiences from a variety of backgrounds, Tom’s journey started back in 2005 where he decided to start making music in his make shift studio shed. He later released 2 mix-tapes “Take Note” Vol.1 & Vol.2 in 2007 and 2008 selling over 3,000 street sales. March 2010 saw Tom set up creative collective ‘Clockwork’ to give back to both the community and youngsters in his area; their policy to help young musicians create careers within the industry.
Having already performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Tom has also supported Katy B, Devlin and Ms Dynamite at London’s prestigious Somerset House. Working hard in the studio with Battle Roy (Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland) and drummer MckNasty (Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32) 2013 is set to be an incredible year for Tom. With his hard work, determination and natural talent creating a legacy for the artists of the future.
