Ra obert Elms says: "Twenty years broadcasting to the greatest people in the world has probably been the best job in the world. A daily dialogue with the city I love, a city which gives so much back to me every day. I am from London and the show is of London; it sounds and fees like this magnificent, monstrous, marvellous metropolis of ours. Every day when I say "Good afternoon London" I am a very proud man.”

David Robey, Editor of BBC London 94.9, says: “Robert Elms is Mr London. There’s very little he doesn’t know about London and its people and, if there are any gaps in his knowledge, his listeners will provide the answers in an instant. It is the quintessential London radio programme and this fantastic milestone for Robert is testament to its success and popularity.”
