Surplus Festival is gearing for its third year of providing a truly genuine Festival For The People over the weekend of 1st – 3rd July 2016.

If previous bashes are anything to go by then Surplus will provide a pulsating ‘old skool’ weekend giving a real taste of the grass roots festival ethos of yore; non-commercial, friendly like-minded folk, some splendid music and happenings, and a genuine sense of community and belonging.

Expect great sets from the likes of Back To The Planet, Nik Turner's New Space Ritual, Here & Now, and Sendelica, amongst many others over a couple of stages, plus some rather spiffing beats to carry the party well into the night (Dave The Drummer, Chris Liberator, and Guy The Geezer are the latest additions to a pulsating bill). With over 70 bands and DJ's over the weekend - £55 shouts Bargain!

Set in a new location in the stunning Vale of Glamorgan, (Oaklands Organic Farm near Bonvilston), the festival will feature plenty of family friendly events throughout the day as well as all the, erm, more adult malarkey. Their food vendors will cater for everyone, and their bar will be selling various local Ales and Ciders.

It looks a cracker to Festivals For All and our reviewers can’t wait. Some tickets are still available so why not join FFA for a right 'ol shindig in the Welsh fields?

Artists booked to appear include Back To The Planet, Nik Turner's New Space Ritual, Here & Now, Sendelica, Mad Dog Collective, Poisoned Electrick Head, The Sporadics, One Eyed God, Lacertilia, China Shop Bull, The Majestic, Grand Collapse, The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell, The Bus Station Loonies, Headgames, Autonomads, The Oppressed, Dogshite, The Rockin' Sinners, Atterkop, Poetic Justice, Jugganote, Public Order Act, Black Max And The Pirates, AOS3, The Death Of Money, Akb'al, Black Light Secret, Heil Zilla, Radioactive Bones, Deviant Amps, M I L K, Desalvo, and Monsterometer.
