That wonderful twice yearly jamboree that is Off The Tracks returns to Donington Park Farmhouse, Derbyshire Fri 24th to Sun 26th May 2013.

The event is now twenty five years old and our Festival For All reviewers think this festival is an absolute cracker. It may change your perceptions of what a festival could be and should be for ever! (Read the 2012 Spring and 2012 Summer reviews and interviews with some of this year's artists as a taster of what to expect HERE.)

The Off The Tracks (OTT) location is based in and around converted farm buildings with adjacent camping on a year round permanent camp site. Image the delight of permanent quality loos and showers! There is a real pub and diner on-site - Even better! The music and activities are held in the various farm outbuildings with the main stage in the farmyard.  You can expect a dedicated real ale shed with 80+ beers, ciders, and perries to complement an extensive bar in the pub (and all at ‘pub prices’, because, er, it’s a pub!). Small enough to be intimate; large enough to have real substance, and when you add 25 years of festival experience and genuinely some of the most eclectic and inspired musical programming our reviewers have ever encountered, then you are may be starting to get a feel for Off The Tracks.

Irrespective of size, some festivals may have ‘atmosphere’ but OTT has a ‘vibe’; sometimes so thick you could slice it. It’s full of those very special ‘festie moments’ where you wish you could bottle it and take it home. The cherry on the cake of course, is that the good folks at OTT offer you all this TWICE a year. Blimey!

You can read a interview with festival organiser Andy Cooper HERE, which provides a nice lead-in to this year’s festivities!

OTT is one of those rare events where knowing the line-up in advance really doesn’t matter – you can trust these guys to consistently offer quality programming year upon year; indeed some of the lower order acts our reviewers have experienced have provided some of the best performances of the festival year.

The 25th Anniversary Spring event offers up the likes of Alabama 3, Blair Dunlop, Salsa Celtica, The Popes, The Selecter, and Merry Hell, plus many more.
