A new supergroup called FFS will play a very special headline show in Manchester at the iconic Albert Hall on August 25th. The band is a collaboration between Mercury Prize winners Franz Ferdinand and the legendary LA art rock duo Sparks. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10am Friday 20th March.

 

10 years after the initial seed was planted by these two seminal bands to join forces in a bold, new creative endeavour, the fruits of this seemingly unlikely musical idea have finally been born. Brothers Ron and Russell Mael of Sparks and Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy and Paul Thomson of Franz Ferdinand have combined to form FFS and have recorded a striking new album.

Announcing a string of European and UK live dates this summer including festival appearances at Benicàssim, Slovakia's Pohoda and Lollapalooza in Berlin. FFS will play a very special headline show in Manchester at the iconic Albert Hall on August 25th. Fans can look forward to the super-sextet performing brand new songs by FFS as well as a selection of hits from both bands’ catalogues.

In anticipation of the new collaboration, the band have released a short teaser video entitled 'The Domino Effect'.
