Maximo Park and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will headline Standon Calling 2014, alongside performances from Clean Bandit, Charli XCX, Ella Eyre, The Heavy, Peace, Leisure Society, TOY, The Cuban Brothers and many others, with more acts including the third headliner to be announced.

Fresh from scoring their third top 10 album, Too Much Information, Maximo Park promise a Saturday night set filled with their trademark energy.

Helping to get the party started on Friday night is headliner Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls. Having recently sold out a string of gigs at London’s O2 Arena, his Standon set will give you a chance to catch one of his most intimate shows of the summer. Still, expect a mass Standon singalong.

Elsewhere on the line-up are Clean Bandit, riding high on their recent number one single ‘Rather Be’, local Herts girl Charli XCX and Ella Eyre, who is on almost every 2014 ‘one to watch’ list you care to mention. Then there’s neo-soul group The Heavy, indie rockers Peace, folk-tinged outfit Leisure Society, synth-pop five-piece The Other Tribe, singer-songwriter Saint Raymond, Imperial Leisure and a return for TOY after their storming, swirling set at Standon last summer. There are also Standon returns for Easy Star All Stars and singer-songwriter, Beans on Toast. Finally, The Cuban Brothers will be chanelling the theme of the festival and intend to lose you in their Latin American party set.
