Longitude has confirmed the addition of some amazing new acts to this summers line up including Bristol’s electro pioneers Massive Attack who will bring the festival to a stunning close as headliners on Sunday 20th July.

Joining Massive Attack are Rudimental, The 1975, Banks, Parquet Courts, Krystal Klear, O Emperor, Eagulls, Ry X, Say Lou Lou, Son Lux, Josef Salvat and Samaris.

The announcement of new Longitude acts coincides with the release of day tickets for the festival along with main stage breakdown of acts across the weekend. Ben Howard will headline Friday night, Disclosure take top billing on Saturday while Massive Attack bring the weekend to a close on Sunday night.

Friday:Ben Howard, Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club, Icona Pop and George Ezra

Saturday:Disclosure, Haim, Chvrches, The 1975, Sam Smith and Hozier

Sunday: Massive Attack, James Vincent McMorrow, Rudimental, First Aid Kit and Banks

Day tickets are on sale this Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster Ireland priced €59.50 incl booking fee.

Previously announced acts who will also be performing this summer include Bonobo, John Talabot, Julio Bashmore, Cyril Hahn, Le Galaxie, Bondax, Koreless and Roosevelt.

Returning for its second year, Longitude recently picked up awards for Best New Festival and Best Medium Festival at the Irish Festival Awards crowning a hugely successful first year for the July weekender.
