Nozstock has announce its first comedy line up for 2013. Hosted by Rock ‘N Roll tour manger turned award winning comedian Bob Slayer, this year’s line up features the cream of the UK comedy crop.

Lauded by Time Out as a ‘wonderfully observed and hysterically funny character who contacts dead celebrities with incredible results‘ Tom Binns is set to grace the stage with his most recent comic creation Ian De Monfort, a psychic from Sunderland. Binns is probably best known as one of the main writers of TV smash hit Trigger Happy TV as well as his varied television appearances including The IT Crowd, Spooks and Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge to name a few. His critically acclaimed Ian De Monfort is Unbelievable show recently aired on BBC Radio 2 and Binns is also due to perform his Ivan Brackenbury character at the festival.

Mr Methane, the renowned performing flatualist caused a stir on Britain's Got Talent a few years ago with his anal voiced rendition of The Blue Danube. His 'Fart Artistry' has landed him gigs at some of the worlds top comedy festivals and an array of private shows for exclusive clients.

Also just announced is Martin Mor who is very much the comedians comedian and support act of choice for the likes of Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas and Steve Coogan to name a few.  Other highlights include stand-up legend and Red Dwarf star Norman Lovett, co-founder of Viz Magazine Simon Donald as well as Lach, Joey Page, Holly Burns, Ben Target, Pat Cahill, John Kearns, Holly Burn, Karl Schultz, Adam Larter, Paul Duncan McGarity, Matthew Highton, Beth Vyse Gareth Morinan and Joe Davies.

Meanwhile over on the main stage BBC 6 Music acclaimed The Wytches  are now confirmed, as are firm festival favourites Electric Swing Circus and high-energy spandex touting duet The Correspondents.  Other new additions include More Like Trees, an acoustic trio who mix up traditional and dance music as ‘strum & bass’, Smerins Anti Social Club,  South London new girl Misty Miller,  The Equators, Tako Lako, Bo Walton, Richard and The Rafters,  Willie and The Bandits, and George Ezra.

The Wytches were the buzz band of Great Escape last month. Their dark psychedelic rock  was described on the Guardian’s New Band of the Day: ‘ The singer, Kristian Bell, isn't so much blissed-out as possessed, wracked, torturing his poor vocal chords, sounding like Alex Turner having a bad trip.’

SIka Studios hip hop squat takeover in The Bullpen have announced the return of High Focus Records to Nozstock, putting on a showcases featuring the like of Fliptrix, who has been considered the UKs freshest hip hop MC since 2010's critically acclaimed Theory of Rhyme, Leaf Dog, one third of underground heroes Three Amigos, Verb T, BVA, Jam Baxter, Edward Scissortongue, DJ Sammy B Side and DJ Madnice. A huge figure in underground UK hip-hop, Dr Syntax will be returning to Nozstock, with his ‘witty social commentary, self-deprecating humour and intelligent wordplay. (Rhyme and Reason).

This year’s theme is Wild Wild West, so dust off your cowboy hats, fringed moccasins, saloon skirts and ropey John Wayne impressions for what promises to be the best Nozstock yet.

SIKA studios are returning to Nozstock! By day they provide break dance lessons and graffiti workshops, with a chance for everyone to get their hands on a spray can, giving all ages the chance to get creative and express themselves. By night, enjoy SIKA’s dynamic programming as they bring you DJs spanning every urban style and bringing a big time groove to your weekend. Keep your ears peeled for some beatbox battles and record label showcases.

The Coppice line up announced 

Psytrance stalwarts Tribe of Frog will also be returning to Nozstock to bring deep beats into The Coppice all weekend long with acts like Big Scary Monsters , Illegal Machines , and K.i.M joining the fray. Also appearing will be: Brainiac, Occular, Lurk, Lorraine, Awen, Neutron, Nocotopus, Psychosonic, F'da F'da, Hemp, Timmer, Dr. Psy, Pieman and Wicki.
