HRH Prog 2017 Preview Posted on Thu 2nd March 2017

Hawkwind, Gong, John Lee's Barclay James Harvest, and The Enid amongst the class acts for a great HRH music weekend

The wonderful people at HRH once again provide a great weekend of Prog related rock at the splendid Haven Hafan y Mor Holiday Park in North Wales over the weekend 16th-19th March 2017.

Our Festivals For All Reviewers love HRH Prog. Read the FFA Review of HRH Prog 2016 for just a flavour of what to expect at one of the biggest Prog focused residential indoor events in Europe. Previously the event has shared the weekend with the HRH Sci-Fi Weekend, but the fifth incarnation in 2017 witnesses the event come of age and take over the full holiday park with two quality auditoria and around 30 top-notch Prog acts over the course of the weekend.

The line-up features some giants of the Prog scene including Hawkwind, Wishbone Ash, John Lee's Barclay James Harvest, Pendragon, The Enid, Curved Air, The Pretty Things, Gong, IQ, Atomic Rooster, and The Strawbs.

Haven Hafan y Mor Holiday Park has a choice of high-quality chalets, apartments and mobile homes available onsite featuring self-catering facilities. There’s also a huge choice of places to eat and three supermarkets exclusively for HRH customers’ use, all within walking distance of the live arenas. Plenty of bars and entertainment provide all the creature comforts and, in the round, it’s a great location for a dedicated weekend of Prog related malarkey! Don’t forget that the park nestles on the edge of Snowdonia in a beautiful location near the North Wales coast.

Festivals For All are lucky enough to be covering the weekend. It promises to be an very entertaining few days.

There are still a few accommodation packages still available – but be quick as HRH Prog is understandably rather popular!
