Guns N' Roses to headline Download 2018

Guns N' Roses will headline Saturday at Download 2018, joining Friday previously announced headliners Avenged Sevenfold and Ozzy Osbourne. Download Festival 2018 takes place from Friday 8th – Sunday 10 June 2018 at Donington Park, Leicestershire.

The band have been on the road since April 2016 and over 100 shows later, the resurgent Guns N’ Roses are back and coming to Download Festival. Reuniting last year for the first time since 1993, the band have been blowing audiences away worldwide on the aptly named Not In This Lifetime Tour, and will stop by Donington on the Saturday night for their first UK Festival appearance of the classic line up on legendary form after selling 1 million tickets across Europe in 2017 alone.

Download Festival’s Promoter, Andy Copping said:

“It’s great to have this iconic line up of Guns N’ Roses headlining at Download. I am sure I am not alone when I say I have been wanting this to happen for years. It will be an incredible show and will be one of the highlights of the Download weekend!”

Download Festival is the UK's largest metal/heavy rock festival with a capacity of some 110,000. Each year Download attracts some of the biggest rock artists on the planet to Donington Park, previous headliners include, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Slipknot.

The festival has 4 stages in the main area, together with a large fairground. The main campsite hosts entertainment when the main arena closes including comedy and DJ's.
