Two years on from the release of his Mercury nominated debut, ‘Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam’, Ghostpoet releases his second album ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ through Play It Again Sam. Having completed a series of headline European shows, Ghostpoet has announced Typesun as support on select dates of ‘The More Light Tour’ in the UK (see below).

A firm favourite on Hype Machine, Typesun (Luke Harney) from Bristol is a natural pairing for Ghostpoet’s understated elegance. His cult hit, 'The PL' received strong radio support across BBC 6 Music (Gilles Peterson) and Radio 1 including numerous plays from the likes of Huw Stephens, Greg James and Sara Cox as part of the Introducing playlist.

After the success of 'The PL', Luke’s next new single ‘Sugar Rush’ will be released June 10^th. In the meantime enjoy this DJ Nature remix of track ‘Last Home’

‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ was co-produced with the talented Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Darkstar, Egyptian Hip-Hop) and pushes Ghostpoet even further in all directions, mixing the abstract and the concrete with uncanny skill. ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ positions Ghostpoet alongside the likes of Tricky and The Streets – modern British auteurs who are as interested in pushing the boundaries sonically as expressing cathartic feelings.
