Foo Fighters to headline Roskilde 2017

Foo Fighters are set to return to Roskilde Festival 2017 for the first time since 2005.  The band will be performing a headline set on the iconic Orange Stage.  Roskilde is one of Northern Europe's oldest festivals having started life in 1971 and now attracts 100,000 festival goers annually.  The 2017 edition of Roskilde takes place from Saturday 24th June - Saturday 1st July 2017 at Rosklide, Denmark, approximately 35km from Copenhagen.

Head of Programme Anders Wahrén says: “Foo Fighters is undoubtedly one of the biggest rock bands in the world, and we have wanted them back for a long time. We’re thrilled that it finally panned out so we can welcome them back to Roskilde Festival for their only Scandinavian show next summer.”

“They are a perfect act for Orange Stage with their unique ability to create a sense of togetherness and excitement. Their concerts the past few years serve as further proof that they are as vital as ever before.”
