At the heart of the festival lies a concern for the overall impact of the event on the outside world. That is why every aspect of We Love Green is ensured to be as eco-friendly as possible. We Love Green is generated on its own renewable energy, fueled by solar and wind power. A rigorous production is committed to “zero impact” – by selecting local service providers, saving water and energy, recycling, managing waste, carpool incitation, deposit system for glasses, providing free drinkable water fountains, setting electric shuttles, including locker room for bikes, all to create an oxygen-bubble festival.

We Love Green is completely ‘disposable’ - furniture and signage is made out of reclaimed material contributed by volunteers, art students, and young designers that is later donated to various art institutions. All waste generated on site is sorted. From plates to cutlery, 100% of food waste and catering are sorted and composted and distributed on neighbouring farms.

Set in the enchanting scenery of Parc de Bagatelle, this exceptional location is granted exclusively by the city council of Paris with a capacity of 7,000 spectators. The location is accessible by metro or a short 15-minute drive from city center, ideal for those seeking to escape the city or taking a short mini break from the UK. Shops and food stands provide local, organic and fresh catering options with several pop-up Parisian restaurants bringing their best food forward. Several workshops will be offered on site, including sustainable awareness talks and exhibitions of fuel-saving energy resources and innovations.

The festival received Greener Outstanding Award both in 2011 and 2012. It was nominated for Best Small Festival and was 1st place winner of Green Operations at the 2013 European Festival Awards. We Love Green truly is an evolutionary festival. We Are Green raises awareness through music, celebration and grass roots work.
