FKA Twigs and Angèlique Kidjo have been unveiled for the ninth annual Way Out West festival on 13th - 15th August 2015 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Taking over the breathtaking Slottsskogen Park, a myriad of international musicians will perform across Way Out West's four stages including Florence & The Machine, Beck, The Pet Shop Boys, Caribou, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, Ellie Goulding, Patti Smith, First Aid Kit and so much more.
As evening sets in the city hosts intimate sets from upcoming talent under the festival's night time moniker, Stay Out West with a programme that boasts the likes of Courtney Barnett, Kate Tempest, Hudson Mohawke, Soak and more. 2015 marks the fifth anniversary of the film section at Way Out West, with an extended programme featuring screenings of over 25 films such as Amy, Cobain: Montage Of Heck and many world, Nordic and Swedish premiers.
This year's festival also hosts the second installment of the Way Out West Music Conference, an international platform for the music industry featuring a number of esteemed speakers and moderators across three days. Way Out West took the groundbreaking step of going meat-free in 2012 and this year the festival will be considerably reducing its dairy consumption with no milk whatsoever on site as it continually looks for ways to be greener. Weekend tickets for Way Out West are on sale from £150.

Way Out West is an environmentally-conscious festival, not only for it's dedication to preserving the surrounding area but also for being the first European festival to have a vegetarian policy on site since 2012. This year the festival has teamed up with oat drink producer Oatly to launch a 72 hour campaign to reduce dairy consumption throughout the whole of Gothenburg with no milk whatsoever on site at Way Out West, to show people that little sacrifices can really help reduce our carbon footprint.
