Fishguard once again cements its reputation as THE festival hotspot of The Wild West of Wales with the return of the Fishguard Autumn Festival (Gwyl Hydref Abergwaun). This wonderful Pembrokeshire town manages to pack six days of action packed events into a full programme crammed with great music, food, entertainment, and events for all the family.

Expect everything from Artisan Markets / Film nights / Fishguard’s Progressive Supper / Autumn Treasure Trail / African dance sessions / Photography Workshops / Pizza making / Songs from the musicals at Theatr Gwaun / Micro Brewery and Cheese events / Vintage steam engines displays and rides / Family fun and Fireworks / Cawl crawl challenge / … and of course, LIVE Music!

Here’s just some of the musical highlights:

There will be live music from Honey Fungus at Fishguard and Goodwick Rugby Club on Saturday 1st November 2014 at 7:30pm.

An African Dance session will be held at Ffwrn on 30th October 12-2pm, by professional dancer Marcel Kouisseoue. All ages and abilities welcome. £5 for the session.

Meet The Micro Brewers & Cheese Producers - Three local micro-breweries and cheese producers will be presenting a selection of their classic and original produce and discussing the methods and ethos of their work. With live music from 9pm. Tickets £18.

Pres yn y Ffwrn! - Come and enjoy an evening of Brass music at Ffwrn as part of Fishguard’s Autumn Festival’s Cawl Challenge Winners Presentation evening. Live music by ‘Hooked

Party Fashion Show and Gypsy Jazz Band - Sunday lunchtime fashion show & Gypsy Jazz live music. Party Fashion Show by Cyd-Creu/Co-create Pembrokeshire makers, with Swansea’s irresistible Gypsy Jazz dancing band live in concert before and after the fashion show, starts at 1pm, £5 entry.

Songs from the Musicals - Come along and enjoy a wonderful evening of ‘Songs from the Musicals’ being performed at the Theatre Gwaun by a group of local children, young people, and adults. Songs from well-known and popular musicals such as Oliver, Mary Poppins, Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat, Les Miserables will be sung. Tickets £4 adult – £2 child (under 14)

Live Music by Lowri Evans - One comes to know a good voice like an old friend. A voice so distinct and special that sings as easy as one breathes. The ear embraces them and notes dance like never before. Pembrokeshire born Lowri Evans’s voice is like part of the family in Wales and what makes her unique is her beautiful Welsh voice, distinctive and powerful delivering her highly original blend of blues, jazz, pop, country, folk and Americana. At Ffwrn with tickets £5.
