Kate Rusby and former Bellowhead frontman Jon Boden are among the first acts announced to appear at the Gate To Southwell Festival 2017.  Also appearing are: BOC, Le Vent du Nord, Chris Smither, Megson, The East Pointers, Jim Moray, The Ooks of Hazzard and She Shanties.

Now in its eleventh year Gate to Southwell has evolved into one of the leading and most innovative folk events in the country.  The festival's roots are in English and Celtic music, however it has expanded to embrace other roots music forms.

Gate to Southwell Festival takes place from Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th June at Normanton Road, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, early-bird tickets for the festival are on sale now..
