Photo: Lorraine LH is also confirmed on our line-up for 2014. Lorraine Lionheart is a fast growing African artist with a great and deep personal ambition to conquer the Global world music scene, staying true to her music and its roots, and putting her country Botswana on the international music map.

Also known to those close to her as Lolo, the UK based singer was born and raised in the Kalahari Desert, in Botswana. The singer says her music is deeply influenced by the music of the Basarwa tribe of the Kalahari Desert otherwise widely known as the Bushmen. In her words “the Basarwa are the world’s most beautiful people”. Having spent most of her childhood in remote African villages, performing on stages around the world and being of any interest to the media was never her dream, but turned out to be her destiny. Even though she embraces her African roots and sings in her native languages as well as in English, her music has NO geographical barriers and appeals to even an audience unfamiliar with African music.

The Dance Tent will be hosted by Break Pirates - ale from Hobgoblin Beer. PLUS! Workshops from Clive Morley Harps, Soundsketch & The Arty Smarty Party.

Once again, there will be a wide choice of mouthwatering menu options for the whole family, including Hogan’s Cider, locally-sourced burgers, pancakes, noodles and ice-cream. Wychwood Brewery’s legendary Hobgoblin ale will be the star of the show, with the bar stage and beer tent re-named after the beer.

A diverse range of workshops for both adults and children offer activities such as story-telling, dancing, singing and drumming classes in the Green Welly Tent. New this year are Soundsketch who will be running a STOMP workshop, making groovy rhythms with household objects as well as ‘Hands on the Harp’ run by world famous Clive Morley Harps who will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about playing the harp.

The welcome return of The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue which will include comedian and compere Desmond O’Connor, the curvaceous Cherry Shakewell and the beautiful Vicky Butterfly with more acts to be announced soon.

This year’s festival really does have something for everyone so chill-out, listen to some top quality live music and enjoy the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
