A slew of European dates this coming autumnhave today been confirmed. For those unable to catch them on May 27th at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, you can now buy tickets for their shows on September 9 at London’s Brixton O2 Academy, September 11th at O2 Academy Birmingham, September 12th at Manchester Academy.

Last week, the duo released their new video for upcoming single “Can’t Hold Us feat. Ray Dalton” on Macklemore.com. The video sees the hip-hop duo spreading the message of their critically-acclaimed album The Heist around the world, from New Zealand to Los Angeles, and across land, air and ocean. It took 3 months to shoot and already has over 5 million views. It is the much anticipated follow up to the “Thrift Shop” and “Same Love” videos, which amassed nearly 300 million combined YouTube views.

After years of building momentum with impassioned support from their devoted fan base, Macklemore (AKA 29 year old rapper Ben Haggerty) and 25 year old producer Ryan Lewis have emerged as the premier US hip-hop group known for their electrifying live shows, expertly crafted music, and innovative music videos and media. Their album The Heist raises social conscious issues not often discussed in modern hip hop including gay rights (‘Same Love’), women’s rights and anti-consumerism (‘Wings’).

Since ‘The Heist’s #2 Billboard Top 200 debut, they have broken Billboard chart records with a multi-platinum single, toured the globe, and played on stages from Saturday Night Live (where 6 million people watched them perform) to last weekend’s MTV’s Movie Awards. “Can’t Hold Us” is certified Gold and currently #7 and climbing on the Billboard Hot 100.

While on their 70-city sold-out world tour, they garnered attention in Rolling Stone, Billboard, NPR, TIME and GQ, with live performances on VH1, MTV, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Saturday Night Live.
