Uttoxeter Acoustic Festival - Folkish, rockish and daring The Uttoxeter Acoustic Festival is unique in many ways. In the first place it is incredible that for the price of one concert ticket, one can enjoy a multitude of sounds spread over three days. Its very intimate setting makes it completely different from all other festivals. It has not commercialised and one hopes that the indie, DIY philosophy that does characterize this festival continues to prevail. Here is a festival that has a mind and a heart of its own.

Joan Armatrading's rich, distinctive voice and passionate yet tender blend of Pop Jazz, Folk and Blues music has earned her a place in British music history. One of Britain's female artists who has stood the test of time with songs like Love And Affection, Willow, Drop The Pilot and Lovers Speak. Joan Armatrading has earned herself a reputation as one of Britain's most unusual and gifted talents whose live performances are not to be missed. Joan will be playing the Acoustic Festival on Saturday May 26th.
