Donovan will be the Friday Night headline act for Stendhal Festival of Art which takes place at Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady, on August 7 and 8th.

Donovan entered the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014 and Stendhal Festival of Art is honoured to be welcoming him to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the award winning festival.

Festival Director Ross Parkhill said: “Donovan is one of the most celebrated names in folk music with a catalogue of songs that play a part in the soundtracks to many people’s lives. It is a fantastic coup for Stendhal to have him headline our Friday night this year and we can’t wait to see him in Limavady.”

Stendhal has also revealed 25 more artists who will be taking to the stage this year including; Kilkenny grunge rockers Kerbdog, DJ Format, Kila, Televisor and 2014 Northern Irish album of the year winner Robyn G Shiels. Also confirmed Go Wolf, Ciaran Lavery, Teyr, Sullivan & Gold, Ryan Vail, Jason Clarke, Join me in the Pines, Oh Volcano, Hannah McPhillimy, Hurdles, CM88, Ryan McMullan, Freak’s, Katharine Philippa, Marty O'Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra, The Bonnevilles, Rosborough, LORE & Lauren Bird.

Ross Parkhill added: “Again this year we will be showcasing the very best talent in as many genres as we can to give the music line-up as rich a variety as possible.

“We are really happy with the line-up so far and are looking forward to announcing the second raft of acts and our Saturday headliner very soon.”
