Dhruv Arts presents Prince Rama Varma the Prince of Travancore (Kerala) in an evening of 'South Indian Carnatic Classical Music' on 25th April 2014. The event will take place at the Purcell Room, South Bank Centre, London from 7.45pm to 10pm.

Maestro of the Saraswati veena, Prince Rama Varma, presents Carnatic vocal music. The singer, educator, writer and orator is a descendant of the legendary composer Maharaja Swathi Thirunal and the painter Raja Ravi Varma.

Endowed with a deep, rich, baritone voice and a nuanced aesthetics, the prince has been making waves in the Indian classical music field for more than two decades. 

The concert is preceded by a talk by the Prince on 'How to appreciate Carnatic classical music?
