Coldplay have been announced as the Saturday Main Stage headliners for Radio 1's Big Weekend Glasgow on the 24th May. Their new album, Ghost Stories will be released on 19 May and is now available to pre-order.

Drummer Will Champion said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have been asked to play Radio 1's Big Weekend. Playing in Glasgow is always been so much fun and Radio 1 have always been wonderful to us so it couldn't really be any better!"
