Dizzee Rascal looks set for another summer anthem, once again making his mark on the musical landscape with the release of his new single Goin’ Crazy ft. Robbie Williams.

Goin’ Crazy is an bold indie-tinged head to head with Dizzee and Robbie whose video brings together these two masters in a spectacular Quadrophenia reboot on pimped out scooters, directed by the brilliant Andreas Nillson who is famous for his distinctly dark yet humorous work with Kanye West, MGMT and Mike Snow.  Made in LA, Dizzee said “Having Robbie involved has been good. When his name came up, I was excited about it. We went to his house to record it. It’s not often on these things you sit in the same studio any more. He told me some amazing stories.’ Robbie added ‘the song instantly sounded like a smash. I love Dizzee’s vibe, his energy and he is a real talent. He seems to be the voice of this generation, so it was a no-brainer.”

Goin’ Crazy is the just the start of what is to come from Dizzee in 2013. He kicked off the year with the release of his second mixtape: Dirtee TV Presents The Mixtape Vol.2 which spawned the Eucharist that was Bassline Junkie which to date has had over 6.5 million views.  Recently he dropped H-Town, a track he recorded in the US featuring hip hop legend and godfather of the dirty south, Bun-B and Houston’s king of the streets Trae The Truth.

Goin’ Crazy will be released on 17th June and will be taken from Dizzee’s brand new album The Fifth.  They follow the announcement of a plethora of huge live performances including a support for Muse on their stadium tour, Glastonbury Pyramid stage and the recently announced Radio 1 Big Weekend.Tour dates and tickets here Festivals confirmed and other news here
