Ramsbottom Festival has revealed its first wave of artists for this years enent which takes place at Ramsbottom Cricket Club, including headliners British Sea Power and Levellers.

Other artists announced today:

Cara Dillon, Admiral Fallow, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour, Keston Cobblers’ Club, Randolph Swain, Mad Dog Mcrea, The Shee, Marcus Malone, Lisbee Stainton, Jo Harman, Harp and a Monkey and Gorgeous George.

Some of the childrens entertainment has also been anounced, including

Shadowplay from Walk The Plank (Friday and Saturday) – performers create human sculptures and silhouetted haracters inspired by European folklore.
Something To Hold by Pif-Paf (Saturday and Sunday) – physical theatre company tells stories inspired by the moon and the stars.
Les Enfants Terribles’ Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie (Saturday and Sunday) – climb aboard the caravan of curiosities and marvel at the crew of misfits in outlandish make-up and costumes. Expect circus performers, puppets, dancers, music and magic.

Ramsbottom Festival brings a quality, eclectic mix of established international musicians and emerging artists to a beautiful town on the outskirts of Lancashire. A chance to enjoy great music, local food and beer in beautiful surroundings.

For 2014, Rammy has joined with Wild Rumpus to welcome a new brigade of touring arts shows for families, alongside other festivals including Kendal Calling and Just So Festival.
