BBC 6 Music have announced there will be a Fringe Festival to run along side the sold out 6 Music Festival.  The event will be a separately ticketed free event at the Victoria Warehouse hotel.

The 6 Music Festival Fringe will run in two sessions each day between 12-3.20pm and 3.40-7pm. Reflecting the spirit of 6 Music, which will include:

A spoken word stage featuring BBC Radio 6 Music’s favourite poets, artists from the festival line up in conversation, 6 Music DJs including:
John Cooper Clarke, Murray Lachlan Young, Alan McGee, Tim Burgess, Haim, Huey Morgan, Craig Charles, Murray Lachlan Young, James Blake, Bob Stanley, Viv Albertine and Peter Hook

A record fair featuring independent record shops from across the UK.

Film screening area curated by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Don Letts.
