Signalling the first week of performances across the City, 10 of the brightest young students from the Central School of Ballet are premiering an exciting new City of London Festival commission by renowned choreographer and dancer Marc Brew at the West Steps of St. Paul’s. The 15-minute piece, Tilt, will explore conflict and resolution within the ever-changing city landscape, drawing on moments shared between people in a dynamic clash of tango music, dance and the outdoors. The dancers, all under the age of 18, will be performing in contemporary costumes of shirts with bow ties and karate shoes.

This piece is part of a wider Festival program which brings to life the Square Mile with a diverse range of music, dance, circus, street arts and much more, with many events free for everyone to enjoy.
