It is now almost 24 hours since rumours started circulating on social media that Alt-Fest would be cancelled, to date there has been no statement from the organisers, however we have received the following mail from the PR Company working for Alt-Fest:

Official statement RE: Alt-Fest will be made via their website/social media. Moving forward we will not be acting on behalf of the festival.

We were not made aware of this situation until yesterday so I am sorry I was not able to let you know before things surfaced online.

Several artists have removed references to Alt-Fest on their upcoming dates including Marilyn Manson
