The wonderful Aberjazz Festival celebrates its twelfth year in 2015 and is held in various venues around Fishguard and the surrounding area. The festival celebrates great jazz and blues throughout the August bank holiday weekend in this wonderfully atmospheric North Pembrokeshire town.

Fishguard comes alive to the sound of live music as Aberjazz is staged over five days in theatres, pubs, bars, and clubs all over town - 2015 featured upwards of 50 bands in 15 different venues around the area. The festival runs 27th - 31st August 2015.

The festival features some splendid jazz and blues music for all ages plus a full programme of workshops and much much more throughout the entire Bank Holiday weekend. Everything from the town’s Gwaun Theatre to found spaces such as the local Sea Cadets base is utilised to present an absolutely packed programme.

Expect artists of the calibre of Emily Saunders and Mercury Prize nominees Polar Bear to be treading the boards over a packed weekend.

It’s also the town’s rather splendid Fishguard & Goodwick Carnival on Saturday 29th August – so Fishguard will be absolutely buzzing.
